YBME is a leadership development and enrichment program for young African American males, created to provide mentorship, content and life experiences that both inform and inspire.

Created by Beta Xi Boule

Founded in 2014, YBME was created by Beta Xi Boule, the Central Florida member Boule of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, to address the need for more targeted action by successful, mature African American men to help emerging generations of African American young men who desire to pursue higher education.

A Leadership and Development Program

Program participants meet once per month during the school year for development sessions where they learn valuable skills, from public speaking and leadership training to social skills and college counseling.
